Valentine for Dad

Image
This might be a little confusing, but my girls asked for a pop-up card for their dad this year, and instead of buying a $1,000,000 card (ok, I may be exaggerating a little ), I thought I'd make my own.  So, here it is, and I'll try my best to explain how to make the pop-up. Pop-Up How To: 1. Print out both pages and color it! 2. Cut out the around the three hearts 3. Fold the heart drawing in half with the picture facing you (make sure you do a good job folding down the middle or the pop-up won't work!) 4. Fold along the sides where the two little hearts touch the big heart 5. Fold the front of the card (the haiku part) in half 6. Place the folded heart inside the folded card, and touch the bottom point to the inside seam 7. Glue one little heart to the inside of the card 8. Policeman Thank You Card

Image
In keeping with the Thanksgiving spirit, I thought I'd post a thank you card for policemen.  I am truly grateful for all the people who sacrifice to make my life safer and better.  They should never go unappreciated.  So, bust out your crayons and go thank a policeman! :) Outside: You work hard each day to make sure we're ok, You protect all our homes and the places we play. You watch over our friends and our families too... Inside: I just wanted to say, "Thanks!"  For all that you do! *Just remember if you want this to print out right, you have to save the image/download it first. If you print straight from the blog it will be all off center and weird :S

Father's Day

Image
I know it's two days before Father's Day, but oh well.  At least it's not after father's day.  So, here's a simple coloring page, and a card.  The card fits on one page, just fold it in fourths, and you've got a card for your kids to color and give to their dads.  Enjoy!
